Huawei inverters, type SUN2000MA-5KTL-M1, are used in residential and commercial solar systems. There is a special security measurement preventing arc faults from damaging the systems. The inverter has an integrated way to connect batteries. The maximum efficiency is 98,4% (European 97,5%). The inverter has 2 MPPTs.

Integrated battery interface

The connection of batteries does not require additional devices. Neither is there a need for adjustments to the current system. Batteries can immediately be connected through the integrated interface. This saves expenses made for otherwise separately purchased devices or adjustments made to existing devices.

Arc fault protection

A known problem within the solar industry are arc faults. These are a result of voltage differences within panels. Huawei SUN2000MA-5KTL-MO type inverters have an Arc Fault Circuit Interruptor, an AFCI. This system is controlled by an AI and will shut the system down automatically within 2 seconds when it detects an arc fault.
